John K. – Sneaker pick-ups – 10/15/11
I haven’t been buying sneakers lately, but went on a mini-binge this week. Copped the Mighty Crown x Nike Dunk High Premium for retail earlier this week, then hit up a local spot and got some great deals as usual. Snagged the Pegasus ’92 for $50; I hadn’t seen these anywhere else and were an instant cop, and the Burgundy Trainer SC 2 for a mere $75. Then I stumbled into another store that had Nike SBs, and copped the Plums for $90. The quality on all four pairs are on point. Nike Retro > Jordan Retro as far as i’m concerned.

Couple of days late, but better late than never. Not a fan at of the No-Liner Air Max 1 (or Dunks for that matter), but elephant print on the Air Max 1 = insta-cop. Wore these a buncha times, still look brand new. The silver midsole is ‘eh’ as well.

The AM 2009 was great, the 2010 was forgettable, the 2011 was sick! Finally picked up a pair of these for cheap.

Not sure when exactly I wore these, but it was sometime last week. SB Dunks are very comfortable and this colorways is perfect since i’m a Knicks/Mets fan. Even after walking around in ‘em all day, they didn’t crease.
